Ashtin Earle isn't subscribing to any labels just yet.
After being spotted packing on the PDA with John Summit at a Fourth of July event in the Hamptons, the TikToker addressed rumors that she and the DJ are dating.
"I'm just," Ashtin paused before telling her sister Alix Earle during a July 11 appearance on her Hot Mess podcast, "having fun."
And while the 21-year-old remained pretty tight-lipped on her relationship status with John, 29, she had a lot to say about the experience of being filmed by onlookers during her night on the town.
"This is just a new experience for me to be recorded every time I'm out," Ashtin explained. "It is a little creepy."
Noting that she "doesn't realize" it was happening in the moment, the influencer went on to quip that she looks back at the clips, thinking, "Who? When did this happen? I don't even remember doing that."
Of course, Alix—who went public with her relationship with NFL player Braxton Berrios in November 2023—could relate to her sister's reaction to the scrutiny, agreeing that the attention is "weird."
"You don't think that much about things. Like, things aren't that pre-meditated," Alix explained, "but people video tape them like they are. It's just so crazy."
Still, the 23-year-old—who is also sister to younger siblings Izabel Earle, Penelope Earle and Thomas James Earle II—acknowledged that Ashtin's current situation isn't all bad.
"I feel for you right now," Alix told her sister before clarifying, "I don't feel bad though because you're having fun."
As for John, the EDM producer—who rose to stardom with his 2023 HAYLA collaboration "Where You Are—seems equally as uncomfortable about the internet's speculation. One day after he was seen cozying up to Ashtin, the 29-year-old wrote on X, formerly known on as Twitter, "Never going out in public again."
